Legal restrictions in Baixa / Rossio
Pombaline Baixa is classified heritage: exterior splits are forbidden on the main façades. Some condominiums allow installation on the inner courtyard side, but that process (condominium plus council) takes weeks and rarely pays off for one summer. A portable is legal, instant, and doesn't touch the Pombaline structure.

Between Rua Augusta and Baixa's pedestrian grid, parking is practically impossible — we use the loading bays on Rua da Prata or Rua dos Fanqueiros and walk the rest. Picking up at the meeting point (Praça da Figueira, Rua da Prata or Praça do Comércio) is free. Door delivery carries a fee based on effort: €15 with a lift or up to the 2nd floor; €25 for a walk-up from the 3rd floor (up to ~€35 from the 5th) — in the tall Pombaline buildings it's worth confirming your floor on WhatsApp; we'll give you the exact amount first.
